Professional Development

Professional development allows Meeting Street staff to continually develop new skills while sharpening current abilities. Since many of the children and young adults we serve are developmentally challenged, it is important for our staff to frequently review and further develop their existing areas of expertise, as well as become knowledgeable of advances within their professional fields. In addition to attending conferences, we hope to bring in mentors, visit other educational and therapeutic centers, and develop a lecture series for the staff and community partners. Additionally, we also invest in the continual development of our administrative staff to ensure that Meeting Street is run in a fiscally responsible and administratively efficient manner.
