The Schwartz School

Providing an innovative special education curriculum.

The Schwartz School operates a year round school, approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as a special education school, designed to educate and support students ages 3 to 22 years old with disabilities.

We have a long-standing reputation in the community as a provider of exceptional educational and therapeutic services for children with special needs. Our compassionate and professional staff includes certified teachers, licensed therapists in the areas of speech/language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and sensory integration/sensory processing, nurses and related paraprofessionals. Services include:

  • Academic rich environment
  • Classroom and one-on-one therapy
  • School nursing services
  • Living skills for transition to adulthood
  • Aquatic therapy in our pool
  • Field trips

Our staff works closely with local school districts and families to ensure a plan that is uniquely tailored to each child. The goal is to work together to maximize a child’s independence and help them achieve their greatest potential possible.
