Education: 2 Masters Degrees, one in Education and the other in Library and Information Technology
Employment Experience: Wendy has worked in Special Education for over 15
years, specializing with children with communication disorders. Wendy has worked as our librarian for four years at Meeting Street and
spent two years as a Children’s public librarian in Barrington. She considered an expert in her field
and has offered many workshops for librarians in the area of making literature
attainable for children of all abilities.
Wendy has sat on the curriculum committee and held officer’s position
for Rhode Island Media Association.
She organizes our Annual Science Fair and holds many events throughout
the year. Wendy has co-written
many grants to make Meeting Street Library well-designed for the 21 Century
Learner.
