2010 Meeting Street Telethon

The 34th Annual Meeting Street Telethon presented by Cardi’s Furniture Superstores was a great success.  The special event was aired on WPRI-12, Saturday, January 30^th from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.

This year was our most successful Telethon ever!  We surpassed our Telethon goal thanks to donors and supporters like you!  At the end of the night, our tote board read: $768,115!!!

Once again, WPRI’s Karen Adams and Mike Montecalvo were fantastic hosts of the Telethon.  The four hour show included an inside look at what goes on at Meeting Street, special segments featuring children in Meeting Street’s programs and live interviews with Meeting Street families.

The Telethon is Meeting Street’s most important fundraising effort of the year.  One of the most exciting aspects of the Meeting Street Telethon was the Citizens Bank online auction.  The Telethon was a great success.  Thank you to everyone who supported Meeting Street as we reached our goal.
