The Bright Futures Early Learning Center at Meeting Street provides children of all abilities a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment. We see each child as an individual with strengths, challenges, promise, and possibilities. At Bright Futures, every child receives personal attention and an individualized learning plan.

Curriculum Philosophy

We are a Reggio Emilia Inspired program and utilize the Rhode Island Early Learning Standards to guide what children should know and be able to do.

• Encourage each child’s growth and development by providing experiences that promote feelings of success, competence, and enjoyment
• Make learning a positive experience by incorporating play as an integral part of the curriculum
• Assist each child in achieving social, emotional, cognitive, and physical goals
• Help young children to use our learning environment productively and thereby see themselves as capable learners

Classrooms for Children of All Abilities

Infant Room
6 weeks – 18 months

Toddler Room
18 months – 3 years

Pre-School
3 – 4 years

Pre-K
4 – 5 years

Children enter Kindergarten at age 5 or 6. Kindergarten is offered at The Grace School at Meeting Street.
