Communication Milestones


Every child develops at his/or/her own pace. We’re here to help alleviate and address your concerns.

By 12 months - Typically developing babies can recognize the names of familiar objects around them

By 24 months - Most children can use around 200 words spontaneously

By 3 years - Many children can understand most of what you say and use around 1000 words

By 5 years - Most children are able to say names and addresses, negotiate conflicts, tell long stories, and speak in complex sentences
