The experts at Meeting Street provide therapeutic and educational services to children with all types of needs. We touch the lives of children from infancy to young adulthood at our state-of-the-art campus, in homes and in community centers. All children receive individualized attention so their specific needs are met. And in every Meeting Street program and service we work with parents so their goals are understood and they are a key part of their child’s education and therapy plan. We practice inclusion whenever possible making sure that typically developing children and children with special needs have the opportunity to learn and play together.
Early Intervention – Infants to age 3
Helping your young child thrive
Meeting Street’s Early Intervention provides children and their family the services needed during the very early years of development. Our personalized approach includes a team of professionals who will evaluate your child and then create and implement a customized plan that includes all areas of development. Bright Futures Early Learning – 6 weeks to age 5
Every child learns, plays and grows together
Our nationally accredited early learning center for children of all abilities offers a high educator-to-student ratio and a warm, nurturing setting. Bright Futures provides unique childcare and early learning opportunities in our classrooms and enrichment through our music, art, and gym instruction. The Children’s Network – Age 3 to pre-k
Prepare children to enter school ready to learn
This unique partnership brings educational programs, health and dental care, mental health services directly to children and families enrolled in partner childcare facilities in Providence. The Grace School – K-8 Education
An inclusive, educational environment for children of all abilities
This is a place of academic excellence, where highly trained, dedicated teachers inspire creativity, nurture gifts, and encourage perseverance in every child. Typically developing and children with special needs learn and play side-by-side making it a unique school environment where everyone succeeds. The Carter School – High School for Special Needs Students
Purpose, accomplishment, pride
The Carter School integrates education, therapy, and work experiences to prepare students to pursue a range of possibilities when they graduate. Our programs support post-secondary education, vocational opportunities, and daily living activities tailored to the student's specific interests and abilities. Therapeutic Services
Evaluation and intervention for best possible development
Meeting Street is staffed with therapeutic experts that serve children in our schools, in our Early Intervention programs and through outpatient services. Children of all ages and with all types of needs benefit from our integrated approach to Therapeutic Services. We offer audiology, low vision and sensory integration therapies.
