The Grace School Admissions
Enrollment
Currently, we are enrolling students who will be entering full-day kindergarten, first, and second grade in September 2008. Each year, one to two grades will be added until the K-8 school is fully inclusive.
For your child with special needs, either you or your school district can start the enrollment process. If you think that based on the information in your child’s Individualized Education Plan you would like you would like your child to attend The Grace School, please contact Karen Higbie, The Grace School Team Leader, for a tour at (401) 533-9240. You should also contact your school district and ask them to send us a referral packet (a document that contains all of the most current information about your child at school). You may be in a situation where your child’s school district has recommended The Grace School as an educational placement option for your child. In this case, you should still contact us for a tour.
Tuition
Private pay tuition for 2007-08, is $7,900/year or approximately $220 per week, paid for by each family.
Children with IEPs – all tuition costs are covered by your school district
Transportation
If your child has special needs and has been referred to The Grace School by your school district, then your school district is obligated to provide transportation to and from The Grace School. Otherwise, you are responsible for transporting your own child to and from The Grace School.
