Internships/Program Volunteers

Volunteer and Student Internship Opportunities

Interested in becoming a volunteer or intern with Meeting Street?

Upon review and approval of your application, you will need to submit the following items prior to a start date:

  • If 18 years of age or older, be sure to obtain a BCI check — a criminal background check. BCI checks are available at the Rhode Island Attorney General's office located on North Main Street in the city of Providence.

  • You will need proof that you are up-to-date on your TB (tuberculosis) and MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) immunizations. Your doctor can administer the TB test and determine if you need a MMR shot and will provide the documents confirming that you have had the proper immunizations. (If you have received either of these immunizations within the past year, simply supply the appropriate documentation.)
