Autism in the Early Years

Attendees will learn the potential signs of autism, the local resources available to a child that may have autism, and the evidence-based practices that can be used if a child receives an autism diagnosis.
The training will conclude with an open question and answer session.
Toddlers: Behaviors vs. Sensory Needs

child keep stuffing his/her mouth with food? Want to know how
you can stop this before they hurt themselves? This training will
assist you in differentiating between toddler behaviors and sensory
needs and resources for both of them.
Intentional Teaching: How to Make Curriculum Work for Every Child

Learn how to use your observations and data to create an individualized curriculum that works for all children. The session will show you how to adapt toys and learning materials so they can be used with any child, and how to work with families to set child learning goals.
Asthma in the Early Years

Learning objectives will include:
- Identifying and avoiding the triggers of asthma in children;
- Recognizing a flare-up and what to do in a severe situation; and
- Understanding an asthma diagnosis, symptom management and treatments.
