Our Campuses

Meeting Street

Learn about The Schwartz Center Campus

Our custom-designed, 76,000-square-foot building situated on a nine-acre campus has made it possible for Meeting Street to strengthen and expand the educational, therapeutic and diagnostic services we provide to over 3,000 children and their families each year.

Our philosophy of inclusion was built into the design of Meeting Street. From the moment you enter the building, it is clear that this is a place like no other. The space is open and bright, fed by natural light throughout the “environmentally green” building.

Our library is a favorite spot of many of our students. Filled with books, CDs, and educational videos, there is a way for children of all abilities to read their favorite stories.

Our classrooms are where the hard work happens! Every student works together to achieve success academically.

Music Room

Throughout the building you’ll also see our therapy rooms, filled with the stimulus needed for interactive sessions. Children receiving occupational, physical, and sensory integration therapy use these rooms.

Everyone enjoys time in our full-sized gymnasium, which is busy all day for adaptive physical education classes and recess.

Another amazing feature at Meeting Street is our indoor therapeutic swimming pool – used for both individual therapy and gym classes. The pool is 4-feet deep and measures 16 feet by 20 feet. The water temperature is a warm 90 degrees.

Meeting Street Campus

Beyond the beauty of the building, 40 percent of the Meeting Street campus is reserved for green space for outdoor play areas: including accessible paths that wind through landscaped areas, the South Side Soccer Field and our fully accessible playground that allows children with and without disabilities to play together.

The Schwartz Center

The Schwartz Center’s 21,000-square-foot building opened in September 2006, combines unmatched resources, a peaceful woodland setting and a convenient location. The building is nestled on almost four acres of wooded property in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. The building provides ample space for the Center’s primary programs. In addition to spacious classrooms and comfortable areas for assessment and therapy, the building also provides special resources for the children and youth who visit us for therapy and education:

  • Heated pool for onsite aquatic therapy
  • Sensory Integration room
  • Living Skills apartment
  • Outdoor areas for exercise, therapy and play
