It’s natural to be concerned if your child doesn’t meet traditional milestones. Our goal is to help you and your child thrive by identifying areas of need and building a customized plan to achieve your goals.

There are no out-of-pocket costs for families and self referrals are welcome (no doctor referral is needed to schedule an evaluation).

Did You Know?

  • Anyone can refer a child to our EI program: pediatricians, social workers, childcare providers, friends, parents or grandparents.
  • Our Early Intervention program is certified by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH).
  • Meeting Street was one of five organizations nationwide responsible for the creation of the Early Intervention program in the 1980s.
  • In 2000, we led the charge to include Infant Mental Health as a required component of EI services, nationwide.
