Honor and Memorial Giving

A gift to Meeting Street is a wonderful way to celebrate a milestone or memorialize a loved one. In addition to thanking you for your gift, our team will send a letter to your honoree / designee letting them know of your generosity.

In Lieu of Flowers...

Naming Meeting Street as the beneficiary of donations "in lieu of flowers" at your loved one's memorial service will have a lasting impact on the children who depend on our services each day.

Planned Giving

A planned gift is a wonderful way to provide financial support for Meeting Street in perpetuity without an outright cash donation. Options include:

  • Making a bequest through your will
  • Gifting a life insurance policy to Meeting Street
  • Establishing a charitable remainder trust
  • Leaving a gift of real estate
  • Naming Meeting Street as a beneficiary of your IRA or other qualified retirement plan

Securities / Stock Gifts

A gift of appreciated securities held for more than one year may provide significant benefits to you as a contributor, such as:

  • Entitling you to a charitable income tax deduction for the fair market value of the gifted securities as of the date of the gift.
  • Eliminating capital gains tax that would ordinarily become due if you had sold the appreciated securities on the open market and donated the proceeds from the sale to charity.
