A home visiting program providing free, voluntary & confidential services.
What is Healthy Families America?
An evidence-based, home visiting program that pairs expectant parents, or families with children prenatal to age 5, with a Family Support Worker to assist families on their pathway to self-sufficiency.
Program Goals
- Build and maintain partnerships to engage families in a variety of settings, including in their homes, in the community and virtually
- Promote and strengthen positive parent-child relationships
- Promote positive growth and development in children
- Build family strengths through the promotion of protective factors
How We Assist Future Parents
- Identify the needs of the family
- Provide the support needed to achieve personal goals
- Support the development of positive attitudes toward parenthood
- Increase knowledge of their child’s development
- Improve family health
How You Can Help Future Parents
Anyone may refer an expectant or pregnant family or family with a newborn to Healthy Families America. Referrals are taken from:
