A New Home for RI's Youngest Learners

Coming soon to our Eddy Street Campus in Providence: Meeting Street's new 29,000-square-foot Center for Early Childhood Development!

The CEDC will be home to Meeting Street's high-quality early childhood programs, including: Early Head Start, Early Intervention, Early Learning Center, Family Resource Center, Healthy Families America, and WIC. The new building will feature:

• 8+ classrooms;
• Young Learners’ Library;
• Sensory Integration Gymnasium;
• Family Resource Room;
• Training Center; and
• Age-appropriate, inclusive, interior and exterior play areas.
  

Upon its opening in August 2024, the Center will create a one-stop program for families with children of all abilities, prenatal to age five. Resource coordinators will be available to meet with and welcome families, building a partnership to support the achievement of family goals and to foster the healthy development and school readiness of their child.
